Buying a Classic like the w123 is always tricky. After owning it for a few weeks and daily driving it in sub freezing temperatures i can honestly say this motor and transmission run like a clock. most old diesels smoke clank and shake when starting in such weather while this one just purrs at cold start with no smoke visible. It is a nice one is all i can say. also this car has an additional 16 gallon fuel tank that was used in the 80's fuel shortages. makes it cool because of the part of history that diesel cars were squeezed into and had a role to play. When fueled this car will carry about 32 gallons of fuel and will not need to stop for a filling in a THOUSAND MILES!!! crazy i know. Cool car here come check it out.
